Shogun, The Rogue, It's In His Kiss
Wow, I'm really bad at updating this. I must've read at least 20 books since my last entry. It just takes too much time to put up a picture, write a summary and a critique. But I still want to keep a list of the books I've read, so I'm going to try again. I'm just going to write a weekly list maybe. And rate it. A summary would still be great so I can remind myself what the book was about. But let's do this one step at a time.

Books I've Read Since the Last Entry (as much as I can remember):

Shogun - James Clavell (5 stars)

The Rogue - Celeste Bradley (4.5 stars)
Heroine: Jane Pennington (recent heiress)
Hero: Etham Damont (not a gentleman but educated as one)
Plot: Gambler Damont is reluctantly recruited by the Liar's Club to discover if Lord Maywell is a traitor. In the process he is attracted to Jane Pennington, Maywell's neice.
Other Characters: Colin Tremayne, Lord Etheridge, Maywell's wife and five daughters, namely Serena.

It's In His Kiss - Julia Quinn (4.75 stars)
Heroine: Hyacinth Bridgerton (speaks her mind, witty, intelligent - sometimes too much for men)
Hero: Gareth St. Clair (estranged from father, not his father's son)
Plot: Gareth is receives his paternal grandmother's diary which is written in Italian. Hyacinth is a good friend of Gareth's maternal grandmother and offers to translate the diary. The diary contains secrets about diamonds and Gareth's heritage.

That's it for now. More later.
