I need a vacation so badly. I haven't had a real one in years.

I requested for three weeks off at the end of March to the first week of April. Had no clue if I'd get approved. G requested for that time period too but as it happened 3 other people also requested that time with one person more senior than him.

I found out just last week that I got approved. I was happy but not that happy because I really didn't think G would get those three weeks approved, too, what with all those other people requesting that time. So I did something I rarely do anymore - prayed...and with fervor! And wouldn't you know it - he was the only one who got approved for all those three weeks.

So, yes, we're going to the Philippines!! And Hong Kong too for about 4-5 days.

I simply cannot wait. I'm just so excited. I've already been searching for places to go, places to stay. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Although, keep in mind, we're on a budget!
