Great Expectations
From experience, I've found that having high expectations more likely than not lead to disappointment. Case in point, Spiderman 3. Having no expectations at all leads to a nice little surprise when something good happens. Another example, Fantastic Four 2. The first one wasn't that great, ergo, what can one expect from the second one? Not much, probably. Now, granted, I haven't seen any of these movies, but that's irrelevant.

My question is, Is it possible to make yourself NOT have any expectations? I really don't think so. I know you shouldn't but when you're used to a certain level, its sometimes a little disorienting to fall a couple of rungs on the ladder.

On a different note, I have no life until the end of July.

On yet another different note, living with my mom hasn't been as bad as I thought. I think I had been remembering my teenage days when I was as sequestered as a cloistered nun. But it's been more than tolerable. Nice, even. I get a lunch bag every morning (weird since I always had to make my own even in elementary). I also get new clothes every so often. No rent, packed lunch, and free clothes! Not too shabby. Plus its been nice to see my brother more often. Although, with me leaving early and him coming home super late, I haven't gotten to seem him as often as I should not that we live together.

Ok, back to pretending I'm paying attention in class.
