My phone had a text message so I opened it up and pressed "READ". As fate would have it, I received a call from an Unknown Number just as I pressed the "Read" button effectively answering the call. (Now, I had been avoiding my Unknown Call since last week. Those of you who know me well know that I'm not a phone person. When I don't know the number on the caller ID I just let it ring, figuring if it was
really important they'd leave a message. And that Unknown Call didn't leave any every single time.)
I cautiously said hello and the person on the other line said that they were from Pace.
I got in to the Accelerated Combined Degree Program. Woopee! I'd been agonizing for weeks because I hadn't heard from them. I really wanted to get in because I'd get my BSN in one year. One really intensive year. But a year less than it would have been on a regular program. Now I just have to figure out how to pay for it all!
In other Marichu news, I'm on the Dean's list for getting above a 3.5 and I was also named a Presidential Scholar for getting above a 3.9. All that hard work is paying off.
