I had two tests and a paper due today.

I'm happy when I finish first when taking a test. I'm not exactly sure why. I don't rush my test to make sure I'm first and even if I do finish before everyone else it doesn't necessarily mean I did any better. But deep down, I know I'm thinking, "I studied harder and retain information better than you and that's why I'm outta here." So petty.

For my first test, Anatomy and Physiology, my friend finished incredibly fast and was outta there. I finished about 10-15 minutes later (I was second). I didn't begrudge her for being first. I guessed she just got all the answers quickly because she busted her ass studying. So I texted her afterwards. It turned out she panicked when she was taking the test and couldn't answer the rest so she just gave up right away. I consoled her and told her not to lose hope. And then I realized, hey, that means I was first! I'm such a loser.

For Statistics, it was like taking candy from a baby. I was in and out. And then I started worrying that I missed something. Why was everyone else still on #3? (Yeah, I looked on the way out.)

My paper was due 8pm tonight and I had barely started. So after Stats, I rushed home started typing like crazy and made the deadline by 10 minutes! Now, I can relax a bit. Election Day tomorrow means no work. Unfortunately it also means no money. Win some, lose some.
