Long Weekend
I don't think I've appreciated a long weekend as much as I do now. Oh joy, to wake up after a good 10 hours sleep.
Recap:
Friday night went out with a bunch of classmates for dinner and drinks and also to celebrate a friend's birthday.
Saturday, went to Jen's for another round of food, scrabble and boggle! I ended up pairing up with Cary which may not have been such a good thing for everyone else because we got a 75 on our first word. And we kept giggling and snickering (or at least I was) whenever we had a good word to put down for our turn. I jokingly told everyone else that we must be annoying. Not surprisingly, everyone laughed but no one disagreed. Once again, thanks for the food Jen and Horacio!
Sunday, Chris picked me up to go to a band rehearsal. The band that'll be playing at his wedding was rehearsing and I had to practice the songs I was going to sing with them. It sounded pretty good! They recorded it for the bass player who wasn't there and they said they'd email it to me. I'll post it up somewhere.
And now, today, I'm supposed to study for a test and finish an assignment. As usual, I'm doing anything but. Guess it's time to buck up and do what I gotta do. Maybe after I bake more brownies. And the room looks a bit messy, I should clean up a bit first too. Oh man, and there's laundry to do. See what I mean?
